The Editor

Before you ask… :

Emergent Noise is a name I chose solely out of my ardent fascination, though incomplete understanding, of Chaos theory.

Currently, I am a doctoral researcher at the Department of Systemic Cell Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, Germany.

The purpose of this blog is to serve as my personal ranting/play ground. Sometimes my rants might make sense, but whatever is the case, I appreciate feedback.

Research Interests:

While this is not an academic site, my interests include processes that create dynamic spatio-temporal distributions of proteins within cells, in particular, their lipid modifications , and the implications on signaling cascades.

Interests :

My interests include science, computing, philosophy, cyber-culture and just about anything interesting under the sun….and I am not a fan of _silly_ bollywood movies. Specifically, I am a fan of tinkering, especially when it is in silico.

BlogRoll

In my blogroll on the main page side bar, I list some of the blogs I follow. Be sure to take a look if you are the kind of person who likes discovering interesting things through idling reading on the tubenet.
